We Still Have Work to Do

The last five years that I have served as your City Council Representative has been an inspiration.

We have made many changes and faced many tough decisions.

We also have made major improvements to our communities by taking a comprehensive look at economic development from the perspective of jobs, education, housing, commercial development, business and transportation.

We have worked tirelessly to set the framework for economic development in District 12 with projects that include the BeltLine, the Metropolitan Parkway Tax Allocation District, the redevelopment of Fort McPherson and Pryor Road, the renovation of Lakewood Amphitheater, the corridor studies for Jonesboro Road and Cleveland Avenue, and the creation of two neighborhood commercial districts on Dill Avenue. There have been significant infrastructure improvements as well, which include new sidewalks, street resurfacing, handicap accessibility, sewer and water infrastructure improvements and major park renovations. I am committed to not only seeing these projects through to completion, but to also initiate more.
